I’ve never spent enough on hairpieces to know if you typically get what you pay for. I was concerned this might be too poorly made or of too poor a quality to be useful, but then I don’t know if a $1,000 topper would really work any better. I took my chances hoping the real hair would look natural enough and I could style this to work.The light brown I got is a bit reddish. I may use a cooling toner on it but it matches my very dark blonde fairly well. My natural hair is super-duper superfine and this almost seems coarse by comparison, but by using Auqilage Transforming Paste on both my hair and the topper I was able to get a blended texture. I carefully used a hairdryer on a hot setting to make the “roots” more staggered and to pull some pieces over my bangs. Even someone looking very closely might not detect a wig base at the roots, especially if you make them less perfectly straight which, again, I did with some heat, and as long as you aren’t parting it along the lace area. It’s not wiggy, or unnatural. It does not have that dreaded perma-tease. This also sits very close to the head, a major plus and unlike most any hairpiece I’ve tried. The clips are secure. It would probably be fine to wear on a breezy day, plus the base size and shape sit just over the crown, so it can’t easily be blown over and flip to the other size to expose the underpinnings.I did cut those fringe pieces along with some face framing pieces, and I trimmed the rest to follow the ends of my own hair. I had it pulled into a pony (with bangs) and asked my mom her opinion. She looked hard but really couldn’t see it and she said I was a very good actress. :-)It did require some styling and it’s too strait to curve under with spray, a round brush, and a hairdryer so I am giving it just four stars, but I am happy I purchased it.The 1st picture was straight from the package. I colored in the part a bit with a sharpie because I rarely leave my hair parted that way. The sharpie made it look less neat and more realistic. I washed it that evening with my normal ogx soap/conditioner and let it dry overnight. The hair is incredibly soft and the perfect color. I need to color my roots as you can see my greys. I curled my hair on low heat with the topper on and no issues. Hours later and it still looks like I just did it. The only real complaint is that it is hard to get the hairline to lay completely flat. I am likely going to take out the front clip or I have seen videos where people used hair gel to "glue" it down. Overall very happy and will purchase again.My hair is extremely thin on top. I ordered this in a much lighter color so it could be dyed closer to my color. It turned out perfectly! I only gave 4 stars because I had trouble getting the front to lay flat. I did a slight side part & comb my hair back over it. In order to get it to lay flat, I sewed in 2 additional clips, one on each side. That helped. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again.The hairline is atrocious. Terrible cap. No way to make the part or front hairline sit flush with your forehead. Possibly one of the worst toppers available, and I have tried many.Base is small for me. I’ll be adding wefts on sides.Love the color and feel of the hair! Easy to style and fun to wear!It was very easy to manage dailyPretty good!
