I like the oil. The rest is ok. Very small bottlesI will be purchasing this product again and again. The scent smells fantastic and the oil helps to keep my beard manageable. I have this spot where it curls, but between the oil and the balm I can mostly comb it out. I do also use a heated beard brush, but the product alone helps a lot. Very worth the money very happyThis set makes a great present but I had purchased this for myself but now will order a box and have sent to my brother in law who also has long man whiskers.The beard balm is great for controlling the longer beard hairs with is main ingredient as beeswax. The conditioning oils help condition the beard all day. It has a very light rosemary and orange scent. The beard oil has a dropper which is my favorite dispenser among beard oils. The nozzle on this dropper helps control the drip with a formula to help against beard hair breakage. I appreciate that each item and the box for that item lists the function of the product, directions and ingredients. The boar hair and wood beard brush feels really nice on on my face helping my beard to lay really soft and smooth. I have a wooden beard comb already which has seasoned over time with oils and balms so this one will be a spare to carry.The beard scissors are stainless steel and very sharp, but the finger holes are small for most men. They have a blunt tip for safety. I may end up using these to trim the dogs beard and around her face :). The styling guide/comb is intriguing, but the instruction book doesn't say much about it.The booklet has a lot of useful information if someone is trying a beard for the first time, but not for long-timers.It comes with a nice gray storage bag for travel. In addition to being a great starter kit, the box is professionally decorated in black blue them with white font and pictures of the item. Looks expensive hence why I check all the stars for giftability.my notes as follows:- beard oil goes rancid writhing days from heat of the body. could have used more stable oil base for it.- beard balm is too thick, essentially waxy vaseline with a bit of sent. too waxy to do anything other than mustache tips.- growth serum went empty within 3 weeks of sparing use. i imagine if i had a biggerbeard it would be gun even sooner. serum is a bit too scented. not bad, pretty neutral scent just too strong for my liking+ hog brush is good+ comb is good enough although week teeth. already lost two.+ beard wash is good tooThe scent is weird but it made my boyfriends bread softerCould have made a different scent for beard oil smelled like used cooking oilI just got my package and started using most things and my beard is looking better. Unfortunately the beard growing serum leaked leaving very little left (pic) but everything else is fine its a great kit for a reasonable priceThis is my first time using the kit and so far I like it the brush and comb are nice.
