I love this steamer! I can now maintain my 4C hair by applying indirect heat to moisturize my hair in between washes and with deep conditioners . It helps lock in moisture , with the right products of course and my hair is so soft and manageable ! TIPS:Do not use tap water with this machine , use distilled water .The timer will continue to make a “ticking” noise even after you unplug. Be sure to turn the timer is OFF before unplugging.The rubber at top of the metal heating rod that is attached to the water beaker will over heat and begin to give off a burnt rubber scent when the water is running low and or is finished .Wipe the hood of the steamer and empty the waste container after every use to prevent mildew.Nice product.I dislike after 30 minutes the steamer released hot water, & it began running down the pole, that was my 1st time using this steamer..... ?, I recommend you not having kids or pets near when using this steamer.Received the steamer, it was easy to put together and we immediately put it to use! It has worked wonders for my family's hair and we love it!Works great and heats up fast. We use it on the low setting and that is perfect. I also needed a replacement for the water beaker after a stylist had damaged it, and the company was very helpful and quick to reply!This is great product I like the way my hair feels after treatmentAs a hair stylist, I was soo excited to use this product and it worked very well for the first few times that I used it. My clients love it and how it makes their hair feel. However, after a while it started leaking but still worked but now it doesn’t work at all. The water just drops on the floor. I took it apart and emptied the water from inside thinking it’ll help but it still wasn’t working. I’m disappointed and so are my clients.
