For most supplements, it is not easy to confirm the ingredients or the mentioned benefits objectively. Bur with supplements for dogs, we are usually content if our dog likes the tastes and receives the supplements. Well, my dog does, but I have not seen him reject many things either.In any case, the mentioned benefits seem nice. Benefits regarding coat usually have omega oil and fish (usually salmon) content and so does this product. However, it does have some differences from other similar products. First of all its color is quite dark. Almost all dog chews I have seen or a shade of brown while these are closer to black. The smell is also different. While it says "all natural salmon flavor", the smell does not remind of salmon or any fish. And the term "natural + pure ingredients" is a bit confusing as you can see the list of ingredients contain chemical names like glycerin, ascorbic acid, sorbic acid, calcium sulfate, etc. Of course, these chemicals can be derived naturally and they can be pure, but that is not usually comes to mind when "natural and pure ingredients" are mentioned.The container has 90 chews and depending on the size (weight) of your dog, they recommend 2 to 5 chews daily, so a box should last you 18 to 45 days. I like that they are in the form of chews because 1) I can exactly follow how many I fed to my dog, and 2) I can use them as bonus treats. If you have more than one dog, you can control which one gets how many.Overall, any chews and treats are welcome for my dog. The omega 3 content and claimed benefits also sound nice. As a result, we are happy with it.
